Mandatory Benefits
Social Security, unemployment compensation and workers compensation are also provided to eligible Avenues' employees as required by law.
Social Security taxes are paid by Avenues and also deducted from each employee's pay check in accordance with federal law.
Unemployment compensation insurance is provided to any person whose employment has been discontinued through no fault of that employee. There is no cost to the employee for this coverage.

Worker's compensation coverage is a system of benefits provided to most employees who have been determined to have a job related injury or disease. There is no cost to the employee for this coverage. Should you incur an injury on the job, you must notify your supervisor as soon as possible. Any delays will slow the payment of this benefit; any delay in excess of 45 days may result in a total loss of benefits.
