Avenues to Independence

CLASSIC UNDERWRITING CONTRIBUTIONS

Avenues is recognized throughout the community as a leading provider of services to persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.  As a way to achieve a greater net benefit from the Classic to Avenues, a program of underwriting contributions has been established. 

Many business and community leaders recognize the value of this kind of support to Avenues’ worthwhile programs.  Your contribution will directly benefit over 200 persons in need of vocational and residential programs and will be widely recognized by Classic participants, local and Fortune 500 companies, and the community-at-large.

$30,000+ Classic Contribution.  Established by Vivian and Bill Gorman, they are looking to expand the benefits to Avenues through new and greater contribution for the naming rights to the Classic.

$10,000 Dinner Underwriting.  This contribution is sought at the Classic to provide for the programs and services of Avenues.  This contribution will be recognized at dinner with 2, 18" x 36" elegantly displayed signs at each entrance to the main dining room; placards at each table; personal/corporate message/advertising opportunity in the 2 inside middle pages of the Classic program book and a major listing on the sponsor board at registration and dinner.  Additionally, this person/company will be presented with the opportunity for a photo press release of his/her contribution to Avenues.

$10,000 Cart Underwriting.  All 72 Carts will will be affixed with a 12" x 24" sign showcasing the Donor’s support for Avenues.  A personal/corporate message on page one in the program book, along with a major listing on the sponsor board and a photo press release opportunity.

$5,000 Tennis Underwriting.  Focusing upon Tennis' contribution to Avenues, this contributor will receive a 12" x 60" banner across the front of the tennis courts, a personal/corporate message or advertising on the inside front of the program book, a major listing on the sponsor board and a photo press release opportunity.

$5,000 Cocktail Reception Underwriting.  During the interim time between golf/tennis and dinner, the opportunity to showcase this contribution will be provided.  Table placards, 1, 18" x 36" sign at the stairway entrance, personal or corporate message/advertising on the outside back of the program book, a major listing on the sponsor board and a photo press release opportunity will be provided. 

$5,000 Participant Memento.  Traditionally, a sweater, shirt or other apparel type of item has been presented to all participants.  This contributor will have the option of designing his/her company logo along with that of the Avenues/Gorman Classic on an item of choice.  Additionally, the inside back cover of the program book will be available, with a major listing on the sponsor board and a photo press release opportunity.

$1,000 Putting Green.  This contributor will receive 2, 18" x 36" signs on easels at the practice putting green in front of the Clubhouse at the Park Ridge Country Club.  Additionally, a full page in the program book and a listing on the sponsor board will be provided. 

$1,000 Driving Range.  This contributor will also receive 2, 18" x 36" signs on easels at the entrance to the driving range in front of the Clubhouse.  A full page in the program book and listing on the sponsor board is included.

$750 Registration Contribution.  This contributor will also receive 1, 18" x 36" sign on easels at the registration table in front of the Clubhouse.  A full page ad in the program book and listing on the sponsor board are included.

$500 + prize on the Par 3.  In addition to a $500 contribution, this donor is asked to provide a gift that will be awarded to the person who is closest to the pin.  An 18" x 36" sign will be provided at the tee, along with a 1/2 page message/advertising opportunity in the program book and listing on the sponsor board.  Additionally, we will provide a person who will be assigned to the hole to promote the company's sponsorship of this game.  At least one par 3 hole will award an automobile prize for a hole-in-one. 

$500 Halfway House.  Refreshments will be provided courtesy of this contributor.  An 18" x 36" sign at the house will announce this contribution, along with a 1/2 page program book message/advertising opportunity and listing on the sponsor board.  Personnel will be on hand to greet guests and promote this contribution.

$500 Shelter.  More refreshments at the shelter will be courtesy of this contributor.  3, 18" x 36" signs will point the way for this supporter.  A 1/2 page program book message and listing on the sponsor board in included.  Greeters will be available to help participants and promote this contribution.

$250 Tennis Courts.  These contributors will receive one 18" x 36" sign showcasing their support for Avenues on one of the three available courts.  A 1/4 page message/advertising opportunity in the program book and listing on the sponsor board is included.

$250 Beverage Carts.  Two for golf and one location for tennis, these carts roam the Country Club in search of needy participants.  One, 18" x 36" sign identifying the sponsor of each cart will be provided, along with a 1/4 page program book message/ad and listing on the sponsor board.

$250 Tee Underwriting.  These contributors will receive one 18" x 36" sign on the tee, showing their support for Avenues.  A 1/4 page message/ad will be available in the program book, along with a listing on the sponsor board.

$125 Cart Underwriting.  Depending upon availability, sponsored carts will be affixed with a 12" x 24" sign showcasing the participants added support for Avenues.  A listing for this contributor will be included in the program book.

Major Gifts and Prize Contributions.  Automobiles and other hole-in-one prizes and trip giveaways are also needed.  Contributors will be recognized with appropriate signage on the hole where the prize is displayed, along with a listing on the sponsor board and in the program book.  Photo press release opportunities will be provided to major gift contributors
