Come join the Avenues Chicago Partnership Board on Wednesday,
October 15, 2008, at the fourth annual Spotlight on Wine—an autumn
evening full of great friends, good food, and fabulous wines.
This event was
established to introduce new friends to the programs and services
provided by Avenues to Independence.
Proceeds
from this year’s tasting will help to cap off the agency’s
No
Place Like Home
residential
renovation project.
The fundraiser will
be held at the Golden Triangle Gallery, 330 N. Clark in Chicago. The
Golden Triangle is one of the largest galleries in the country
devoted to art, antiques and home furnishings from China and
Southeast Asia.
Tickets are $85 and
include a cocktail buffet and tasting of several wines. For

Get ready for an exciting afternoon of horseracing at the Arlington
Park Racetrack on September 14, 2008. The afternoon includes
cocktails and brunch and the opportunity to view the races from the
Platform in the Million Dollar room. Tickets are $90 and all
proceeds will benefit Avenues residential and employment programs.
