Irish Fest best ever-again!
If
you were looking for a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and a
way to support Avenues, then the eleventh Annual Irish Fest was the
place to be.
Hosted by Avenues parents Bob Healy and Peg O’Herron, and Mike and
Mary Prindiville, the fest was an afternoon filled with non-stop
merriment including music, song and dance. Performances by The
Academy of Irish Music, The Irish Heritage Singers, harpist Chelsea
Link, and the Webber Dance Company of Chicago all made for a very
Gaelic afternoon.
Each year, the fest continues to grow and guests have more to enjoy
in the company of friends and family, while dining on a traditional
meal of corned beef and cabbage.
