Matching gifts go farther than you know
Many
corporations match the gifts their employees give to non-profit and
charitable organizations. Many times the policy refers to gifts from
spouses and retirees also. Please contact your company’s Human
Resource department for additional information on matching gifts.
Heritage Society honors members
Dan
Balogh says he really likes his new home at Avenues and learning new
jobs at the Avenues work center in Wheeling.
He
expressed his gratitude to Avenues supporters at the Heritage
Society dinner held in May at the Park Ridge Country Club. The
annual reception is hosted by Board member Fred Sasser and his wife
Pam, members of the Society, and honors all those who have made a
commitment to Avenues in their estate planning.
Now in its eighth year, the Society is comprised of 56 members who
have informed Avenues in writing of their intentions. For additional

Memorial Donations
A memorial donation
is a lasting gift that expresses more than words alone. Your tribute
gift will become a meaningful remembrance as it works to help
provide quality care to adults with disabilities living and working
in the community. Notification of your donation will be sent to the
person or family you designate without disclosing the amount of your
gift, and a listing will be included in the Avenues Annual Report.
Honorarium Donations
Are you looking for a
way to honor someone special to you? To recognize a birthday,
graduation, volunteerism, or leadership? A gift “in honor of" not
only pays tribute to an individual but also allows Avenues to
continue to provide quality programming. Notification of your
donation will be sent to the person or family and will be included
in Avenues’ Annual Report. There is no disclosure of the amount of
your gift.
