Everyone loves to get a bargain, and there’s never been a better time to shop at the Avenues’ Thrift Shoppe. You’ll find great prices on gently used clothing for infants, children and adults; shoes, household items, books and small furniture.   

Manager Michael Frustini’s motto is SWAT–“sell what’s available today” and by that he

 aims to sell EVERYTHING with the budget-conscious shopper in mind. From the  moment you enter the newly revamped and reorganized store you’ll be pleasantly  surprised, whether at our main shop at 7710 West Touhy in Chicago, or at our “boutique” shop just a few doors east  that features upscale clothing, outerwear, collectibles and finer merchandise.  

Michael admits he is a “neat freak,” and along with his staff of volunteers and Avenues’ workers John Kelly and Mark Ostrand has made sure every item has  a place and looks attractive.  Attractive prices are also a must, and Michael has started dollar racks that feature end–of-season merchandise and clothing.
